The March 22 OnlineMediaDaily story "Study: Wireless Spam Proliferates" on Monday mistakenly reported that Royal Farros, CEO of online marketing firm MessageCast, Inc., said that "spim," or ads sent to cell phones via instant message, pose a problem. In fact, Farros said that SMS Spam--ads sent directly to cell phones via text message--pose a problem.
