Magazine Editors Launch National Awards Database

  • March 29, 2005
The American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) has launched a searchable database of past winners and finalists of the National Magazine Awards (NMA). Presented annually since 1966, the awards honor editorial excellence, and encourage editorial vitality. The database can be found on the ASME Web site (http://www.magazine.org/Editorial/National_Magazine_Awards/Searchable_Database/), and contains more than 2,000 records from 1966 to the present. It is searchable by year; winner/finalist status; award category; magazine title; as well as editor, article, and author names. -- Amy Corr
