BriteVerify Integrates With Oracle, Improves Quality Of Email Lists

Oracle marketers have gained BriteVerify’s email verification services, thanks to a new integration announced Wednesday between the application and Oracle’s Responsys.

BriteVerify has launched an email verification application on the Oracle Marketing AppCloud, a marketplace of third-party technology solutions that can be implemented in conjunction with Oracle’s cloud computing services.

Founded in 2009, BriteVerify helps marketers ensure their email lists are valid before an email is ever sent. In real-time, the company removes any undeliverable email addresses from its customers’ email lists to maintain consistent data quality and improve inbox deliverability.

“Email lists can decay at a rate of 2.1 percent per month,” states Matt McFee, founding partner of BriteVerify, adding that the integration makes it easy to follow email best practices and to keep marketers' email lists fresh.

The application can also migrate email lists from other marketing platforms, including MailChimp and Constant Contact, to Oracle while removing any emails that would otherwise likely result in a bounce-back or spam-bot.

BriteVerify also powers BriteForms, an application that protects online registration forms from being filled with invalid or fraudulent data.

Up-to-date customer data and validated email lists are essential elements in producing high ROI-generating email marketing campaigns.

Invalid email addresses can have severe consequences for a brand’s sender score -- a metric that ISPs leverage to verify the authenticity and safety of messages sent from any particular IP address.

In fact, a study earlier this year by Return Path evaluated the effect of a sender score on email’s deliverability and discovered that as much as 90% of delivered emails are derived from senders who have qualified sender reputations. More than half of blocked messages come from senders with a score of 70 or below (out of 100).
