eBay Goes To BBDO

Internet auction site eBay Wednesday tapped Omnicom Group's BBDO to be its marketing agency of record in the United States. The news came one day after reports surfaced that eBay ended a six-year relationship with ad agency Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. eBay said it spent $455 million on global marketing initiatves, and about $250 million on U.S. marketing campaigns.
