Become.com, a shopping search engine based in Mountain View, Calif., left beta Monday, promising its users a 3.2 billion page shopping index. With the site's launch, registration is no longer
required--any browser can use Become's search engine for free, and the site added a spell-checker to correct online shoppers' queries. The site's beta launch was officially announced in February, when
MySimon founders Michael Yang and Yeogirl Yun teamed up to launch the shopping search engine.
