Google And Yahoo Yet to Deliver End-to-End Email Encryption

Google and Yahoo both announced plans develop end-to-end email encryption tools more than three years ago, yet neither has yet to deliver on the promise. Despite plans to be done by the end of 2015, consumers using these free emails tools lack privacy, as their messages are stored on company servers without encryption. Some security researchers have said that these tools could hurt the companies' respective advertising business which relies on scanning emails for keywords to sell ads.
