Nielsen Thursday announced plans to support its second year of a post-graduate media research class through New York University's School of Professional and Continuing Education Studies. The six-week Nielsen Television Research program offers a Certificate in TV Audience Measurement. The course is taught by TV research vet Richard Zackon, who was recently hired by Nielsen to facilitate the creation of a proposed Nielsen-funded TV research and development entity. The course includes guest lectures by industry experts, and a 100-hour internship. -- J.M.
