'Allure' Offers Branded Beauty Box For Valentine's Day

Allure has released a branded beauty box for Valentine’s Day. The Beauty Box is Allure’s monthly subscription-based service containing product samples curated by editors from the Condé Nast title.

A sponsored product is often featured in each box. The sponsored product is not included in the value of the box and is an extra product, according to a Condé Nast spokesperson.

Allure’s Beauty Box boasts nearly 30,000 members, a 135% increase from January 2016 to January 2017.

The Valentine’s Day box contains products aimed at creating a romantic and sultry look and feel, such as a Beautycounter Lengthening Mascara, a Cargo Colorstick in Campagne, First Aid Beauty’s Facial Radiance Pads, Grande Lips Hydrating Lip Plumper, a Red Flower Moroccan Rose Candle and Olay Eyes Pro-Retinol Eye Treatment.

Olay's item was the sponsored product for February.

The Allure Beauty Box usually contains five to six editor-curated products, as well as a mini magazine.

A three-month subscription of the Beauty Box is $45, with each box valued at $50 or more. A six-month subscription is $85, and a year’s subscription to the Allure Beauty Box is $150, or $30 off the regular price.

At present, new subscribers will receive an exclusive Doucce x Allure Smoky Eye Palette.

For special occasions, Allure has collaborated with other Condé Nast titles to produce beauty boxes.

For example, Allure and Brides magazines partnered on a bridal-themed beauty box last summer. Allure also released a travel-themed box with Condé Nast Traveler, a back-to-school themed box with Teen Vogue and a male grooming one with GQ.
