MPG's Deniz Named Global Research Director At MediaCom

MediaCom last week announced that Tonya Deniz has joined the agency as worldwide director of research and consumer insights. Deniz, who will be based in MediaCom's New York office, quietly joined MediaCom after she was let go as part of a major staff reduction at MPG, which was prompted by that agency's loss of Volkswagen's U.S. media account to MediaCom. At MediaCom, Deniz is in charge of the agency's global research team. She reports to Harvey Goldhersz, COO and Chief Planning Officer of MediaCom Worldwide. -- J.M.
