Hilton Hotels Places Media, Creative In Review

Hilton Hotels Corporation has issued request for proposals (RFP) from agencies for creative services for the Hilton brand and creative services for the Hilton Family of Hotels umbrella group. In addition, media planning and buying chores for Hilton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hampton Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, and Homewood Suites by Hilton hotels have also been placed in review. Hilton Hotels expects a decision in three months. Foote Cone and Belding (FCB) has handled the Hilton Family creative as well as creative for several of the individual brands--as well as media buying for all of the Hilton Family brands--for the past seven years, and continues to handle creative for Doubletree, Hampton, and Homewood Suites by Hilton brands. The agency has been invited to participate in the RFP process. According to industry sources, the account is valued at $45 million.
