DoubleClick: Open Rates, Click-Throughs Decline

E-mail open rates dropped to 30.2 percent in the first quarter of this year, from 38.2 percent in the first quarter of 2004, according to DoubleClick's first quarter e-mail trend report, released Thursday. Click rates also declined to 7.9 percent in this year's first quarter, from 8.4 percent in the first quarter of 2004.
