WPP Group's Mediaedge:cia has launched Mediaedge:cia Puerto Rico, based in San Juan, and named José Antonio Martinez as the group's vice president and general manager. Martinez, formerly vice
president, media services for Y&R Puerto Rico, will lead a staff of 15 employees. He will report to MEC's regional headquarters for Latin America, based in Miami and Mexico City, and led by Group M
CEO David Byles and GM Sue Chamberlin. Group M oversees both MEC and its sister shop MindShare.
