Google Upgrades Personalized Search

  • June 29, 2005
Google Tuesday released a revised personalized search utility into beta. The feature can track users search and browsing history in order to give customized results. Users also view their search histories, pause the search tracking--if they're performing searches they would prefer not be recorded--and delete their search history. Google's previous personalized search tool weighted search results based on categories users said they were interested in.
