Yahoo! To Roll Out E-Mail Enhancements

Yahoo! Mail on Tuesday announced the forthcoming beta rollout of an additional version of Yahoo! Mail before the end of the summer. The new version works like a desktop client application by providing a faster experience with enhanced functionality, such as drag and drop e-mail organization and message preview, according to a company statement. The new version incorporates the technological expertise demonstrated by Oddpost, a company acquired by Yahoo! in July 2004.
