SendGrid Inc. has launched SendGrid Academy, an online learning program and community for email marketers.
The program focuses on best practices for email marketing and delivery, for both advanced and beginning emailers, the firm says.
SendGrid developed the program because customers “consistently tell us that they are eager to learn more about the constantly evolving landscape of email delivery and email marketing,” states Steve Sloan, chief product officer at SendGrid.
Each course features how-tos, scenario-based examples and a curated list of resources, the company continues.
One client who has sampled the courses is Dallas Hendricks, director of operations at Telespine.
"As a manager, it was important to me to understand the more technical elements of how our transactional emails were being set up and sent out to our user,” he states.
He adds that the curriculum breaks down individual elements, “from APIs and domain registration to unsubscribe features and marketing best practices--for a wide range of technical experience.” It also covers personalization and segmentation.
