VNU Business Media has appointed DEREK IRWIN as chief financial officer. Before joining VNU, Irwin was CFO of Ziff Davis Media where he was responsible for investor relations and managing the operating and financial efficiencies of Ziff's business and consumer magazines, as well as its Web sites.
