Claria Names New CEO

As Claria attempts to reinvent itself from an adware purveyor to a behavioral targeting shop, the company has named new top management. Claria appointed Scott VanDeVelde CEO and president, and Scott Eagle executive vice president. VanDeVelde was formerly the senior vice president for global sales, while Eagle was formerly the company's chief marketing officer. Former president Jeff McFadden now is an acting consultant to Claria.
