OpenTV Opens New Book, Buys Firm Managing How Cable Ad Deals Are Booked

Interactive TV developer OpenTV Corp. Wednesday said it acquired the cable TV ad management firm CAM Systems in a cash and stock deal valued at $19.5 million. The company said the deal advances OpenTV's ability to provide interactive, addressable and on-demand advertising services in the $5 billion local cable TV ad marketplace.
