Tom Kane Named President, CEO Of Viacom

Tom Kane has been named president and chief executive officer of Viacom Television Stations Group. Kane succeeds Fred Reynolds, who was recently named executive vp and chief financial officer of the new CBS Corporation. Kane will oversee all operations of the group's 40 local TV stations and report directly to Les Moonves, co-president and co-chief executive officer of Viacom, who will become chief executive officer of the new CBS Corporation. Kane previously served as president of sales for the Viacom TV stations group.
