Nielsen To Unveil 'Viewer Engagement' Plans

Nielsen Media Research today will unveil details of a new "viewer engagement" research plan proposal during the first in a series of national client meetings. Other topics to be discussed: An update of the Nielsen/TiVo Audience Measurement Service, as well a video-on-demand research initiatives; results of college viewing patterns in Nielsen's extended home sample; and results of a data fusion of Nielsen's national people meter sample and sister unit ACNielsen's Homescan product purchasing database. -- Joe Mandese
