Smashing Ideas has appointed BRIAN BURKE as managing director of corporate development. Burke will oversee all corporate and business development efforts, focusing on strategic partnerships in media, entertainment, consumer products, mobile and emerging technologies. Prior to joining Smashing Ideas, Burke helped launch AtomFilms, which merged with Shockwave.com to form AtomShockwave Corporation.
