DoubleClick Inc. on Thursday signed a three-year deal with Bertelsmann AG in which the German media giant will license the online advertising firm's technology. As part of the three-year pact, Bertelsmann will license DoubleClick's AdSERVER, DART for publishers and DARTmail products. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Tom Curran, Bertelsmann chief technology officer, said in a statement that the partnership will allow the company to offer advertisers “the best possible implementation for their campaign on a large number of websites, while achieving considerable synergies throughout the group.''
