Google Friday released a new feature for AdSense publishers, allowing them to add a link to their sites inviting advertisers to buy targeted AdWords that only appear on that site. The link, which reads "Advertise on this site" takes potential advertisers to a page where they can set up AdWords ads just for that site. The feature is an extension of Google's site targeting feature that was released in June, allowing advertisers to select specific sites that their ads would appear on, and bid only on traffic to those sites. Ads targeted at a specific site still have to outbid all of the other potential AdWords advertisers who are bidding across the Google network.
