FCC Eyes Cable, Satellite TV Indecency

The Federal Communications Commission is turning its indecency sights on the premium TV business, Chairman Kevin Martin disclosed Tuesday. Historically, the commission has regulated only FCC licensed broadcasters for indecent TV content, but Martin indicated the federal agency is eying indecency "standards" for cable and satellite TV operators offering subscription TV packages. -- Joe Mandese
