Nextel has agreed to underwrite next month's CBS special on the Sept. 11 attack on the World Trade Center so it will be aired without commercials. Neither company would reveal how much Nextel paid.
The special, "9/11," features exclusive footage shot from inside the World Trade Center by two French filmmakers on the day of the attacks. The two-hour show will air on Sunday, March 10 at 9 p.m.
