Google, Microsoft Settle Lawsuit

  • December 27, 2005
Microsoft and Google have settled a lawsuit about former Microsoft executive Kai-Fu Lee, who defected to Google last summer. Details of the settlement were not disclosed. Microsoft had sued, alleging that Lee promised he wouldn't work for a rival company for at least one year after leaving Microsoft. In September, a judge in Seattle had ruled that Lee could do some work for Google while the lawsuit was pending.
