Paper: Havas Faces Suit From Former Communications Chief

Havas, the Paris-based parent of MPG, Arnold & Co. and other agencies, is facing a suit from its former head of communications, Alain Cayzac, who claims he was deprived of a big severance pay-off even though he resigned voluntarily, reports the Financial Times. "The dispute between Havas and one of its longest-serving executives is likely to draw attention to the generous contracts and "golden parachutes" enjoyed by many of the senior executives at the financially struggling advertising group," said the paper.
