Twitter Blue Subscribers Gain Access To 'Media Studio' Feature

Media Studio, a Twitter feature previously accessible only to specific media partners and celebrities, is being expanded to include Twitter Blue subscribers, who will now be able to manage their content, livestream and more.

The update was uncovered by Taiwanese journalist Fausto Cho over the weekend, who shared screenshots (above) on his Twitter account

Media Studio was launched in 2016 to offer Twitter media partners access to various media asset management tools, including a unified library where users can upload, organize, share and track previously uploaded content and tweet scheduling and account permission controls, an analytics dashboard, advanced production elements and a broadcasting hub that grants access to exclusive livestream editing and promotion tools.

The Twitter Blue “About” page now includes access to the Media Studio as an official perk of paying for a subscription to the social messaging platform. However, it is unclear when Media Studio will become available to all verified users.

Twitter owner and CTO Elon Musk has also hinted at upcoming Media Studio “improvements,” which could include advanced live-streaming tools alongside desktop and PC access to Twitter’s live audio hub, Spaces.

With 100 million people now using Meta’s Twitter competitor Threads, Musk and Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino may be pivoting toward providing a new home for professional streamers and podcasters interested in uploading exclusive content to the app.
