Time Warner Eyes Univision Bid

Time Warner is evaluating a bid to acquire Spanish-language media giant Univision, Chairman-CEO Richard Parsons said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. The disclosure, which comes amid reports that Time Warner may have resolved a dispute with dissident shareholder Carl Icahn, who had proposed breaking the company up into four smaller pieces. Univision is estimated to be worth about $10 billion.
