Starbucks has introduced “automatic reload” to its Starbucks Card. Automatic Reload gives customers the opportunity to replenish their Starbucks Card balances with a credit or debit card through online registration. And when they do, Visa might buy them a few lattes. Starbucks and Visa are launching the "Get an Extra Shot from Visa" contest. Everyday through November 11th, Visa will randomly select five individuals who have signed up for Automatic Reload using their Visa card. The selected customers will receive a match of their first amount loaded onto their Starbucks Card. For example, if a customer established a reload of $30 on their Starbucks Card, Visa could add another $30 onto their balance. Starbucks customers who choose not to sign up for Automatic Reload can also enter to win an Extra Shot from Visa in the form of a loaded Starbucks Card.
