Google, AOL Finalize Deal

Search giant Google Wednesday finalized a deal to pay Time Warner $1 billion for a 5 percent stake in AOL. According to a recent filing with the SEC, Google and AOL expect the deal to close in the second quarter of 2006. Google derives roughly 11 percent of its paid search revenue through its partnership with AOL.
