Advertising Week Teams With Tribeca Film Fest

The Tribeca Film Festival Wednesday said Madison Avenue's "Advertising Week" has joined American Express and various community organizations as a festival partner. Terms were not disclosed, but the deal seems intended to spread awareness of the two events throughout the year; the film festival runs April 25 through May 7, while Advertising Week starts Sept. 25. According to festival co-founder Craig Hatkoff, "Not only will the partnership bring many of Madison Avenue's leading decision makers to Tribeca in the next several weeks. It will also give the Festival a visible platform during Advertising Week in September, a time of year when we are typically dark." -- Erik Sass
