Regent Adds Three Minnesota Radio Stations

Regent Communications. Inc. announced yesterday that its subsidiary, Regent Broadcasting, Inc., has signed a definitive agreement with StarCom, Inc. to acquire in a merger with StarCom, radio stations KLZZ-FM, KKSR-FM and KXSS-AM serving the St. Cloud, Minnesota market, for a total of $5.0 million in cash. Regent will begin providing sales, marketing and programming services to the stations pursuant to a time brokerage agreement on July 1, 2000.
