Viewpoint Corporation, a provider of Internet graphics and delivery systems, has entered the search business, having unveiled a new search toolbar incorporating an innovative visualization technology
called Graphically Enhanced Search (GES). The implementation will include Sponsored Search results provided by Overture and Web search results provided by Yahoo! Search. GES will include features such
as: DogEar Search Tracking that allows users to mark pages that they want to go back to, and a Visual Bookmarks Tray that stores dynamically updated images of favorite websites and search pages.
Viewpoint plans to roll out Graphically Enhanced Search in a public beta launch beginning in mid-March.
