Interpublic's McCann Worldgroup, the division that includes Universal McCann, Wednesday announced plans to adopt Microsoft's Connected Services Framework into its IT infrastructure, marking the first
time a major ad agency will utilize the system. McCann, which also happens to be a Microsoft agency, said the framework would be used in "two projects," which would enable its employees and partners
to publish, browse, search and access digital media assets form a centralized depository, regardless of their file size. Among other things, the system will facilitate the transfer of large,
high-resolution files from one location to another.
