Carat Adds Print Services To Barter Media Unit

Carat USA Wednesday said it was launching a new print media division to its barter advertising unit, Carat Trade. Leslie Grand has joined as vice president-director of print trade, and will oversee the print media, as well as out-of-home media for the barter unit. Carat launched Carat Trade in 2001. She joins from barter media giant Active International where she was vice president-print media director. Founded in 2001, Carat Trade trades underutilized assets such as surplus products, services and real estate of Carat's clients in exchange for media inventory.
