Sundance Channel Hits 20 Million Subs

Sundance Channel, founded in 1996 by Robert Redford, has just crossed the 20 million subscriber mark, becoming the third premium cable & satellite network in history to hit this milestone. Buoyed by a recent deal with Cablevision that added the network to the system's digital platform throughout the Northeast, including the New York Metropolitan area, Sundance Channel stands behind HB0 and Encore, which hit 20 million in 1995 and 2002, respectively.
