More than four million people in North America are expected to subscribe to mobile broadcast services in 2007--up from about 1.5 million this year, according to a new study from ABI Research. The
research company also forecast that most of the broadcast wireless services will debut at $10 a month for subscriptions, which will be offered by telecoms like Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel. ABI
Research also found that advertising will become an increasingly important source of revenue for mobile broadcast video.
