Search company LookSmart acquired Net Nanny, a brand name in consumer online filtering, for approximately $5 million in cash and stock from privately held BioNet Systems LLC. Included in the
acquisition are all Net Nanny software products and Web-based assets, as well as the Net Nanny brand name.
