Walt Disney Internet Group will start selling ringtones, graphics and mobile games directly to North American consumers this fall through a deal with mobile content provider Jamster. Jamster is the
North American brand of Berlin-based Jamba, which News Corp. took
a majority stake in earlier
this month for $188 million. Jamster already sells Disney mobile content in other global markets through an existing relationship. The Disney content will come from its mDisney and Starwave Mobile
publishing labels.
