DiGuido Exits Epsilon

  • September 29, 2006
Al DiGuido has left e-mail services company Epsilon Interactive, where he served as president and CEO. Ragy Thomas, former chief technology officer for Epsilon Interactive, has taken over as president of the unit, which was renamed Epsilon Interactive Services as part of a restructuring.

DiGuido came to Alliance Data Systems' Epsilon Interactive division when the company purchased Bigfoot Interactive--one of the largest independent e-mail services firms--for $120 million last year; DiGuido had previously served as CEO of Bigfoot Interactive. Earlier this year, in a major industry consolidation, Alliance acquired DoubleClick's e-mail business for $90 million.

This week, Epsilon also reorganized into four separate groups: Strategic Database Services, Epsilon Interactive Services, Agency and Direct Services and CPC Associates.
