Rob Tuck has been promoted to executive vice president of sales and planning for The CW. Tuck had been senior vice president of national sales for the CW. In addition to overseeing the network's
sales and planning operations, he will continue to manage the CW's sales force in Chicago and Detroit, as well as overseeing ad sales on www.cwtv.com. Previously, Tuck has been at the WB for its
entire run, moving up to senior vice president of national sales in 2002. He had also held senior positions at TeleVest (now MediaVest Worldwide) and station sales rep, MMT.
He
will report to the CW's head of sales Bill Morningstar, and will lead the network's efforts in areas such as pricing and marketplace projections. Tuck was the senior vice president-national sales at
the WB since 2002 and had been with the network since 1995, as had Morningstar.
