Leo Burnett Cuts U.S. Workforce

Publicis Groupe's Leo Burnett has cut 16 positions, or between 1% and 2% of its U.S. staff, an agency rep said. The cuts were due to a strategic reorganization, given the business losses over the past six months. The Chicago agency lost creative on Maytag's $80 million account and ConAgra's nearly $20 million Healthy Choice assignment. Burnett's Detroit office also lost creative duties on Cadillac's $140 million account.
