The 1UP Network has put 100 back issues of the popular computer gaming enthusiast magazine
Computer Gaming World online as downloadable PDFs, available at the network's file-serving property,
FileFront. The back issues are free to download. A spokesman for the network said that the move is intended in part to highlight the integration of the print and online properties of the network to
advertisers. "We've been trying really hard to push our integrated media story to our advertising clients and the gaming companies who pitch our editors' stories. We want them to see the 1UP Network's
Web sites as fully integrated with our magazines," the spokesman said. "The Web and print are two sides of the same coin."
