WPP Announces Team Detroit, Rogers To Head Effort

The WPP agencies in Detroit announced Tuesday that "Team Detroit" will be the official name of its recently formed joint venture, comprised of the Detroit-based offices of its top marketing communications agencies: JWT, Y&R, Wunderman, Ogilvy and GroupM media companies Mediaedge:cia and MindShare. The change is effective Jan. 1, 2007. George S. Rogers, JWT Detroit's current president and CEO, has been appointed president and CEO of Team Detroit, a newly created position, effective immediately.
