Lexus has launched Lexus Hybrid Living, a Web site to promote its hybrid vehicles as the embodiment of luxury and sustainability. The site, touting the RX 400h SUV GS 450h sedan, resides at Lexus.com/hybridliving. It covers ecologically enlightened design, profiles eco-designers, and also includes podcasts and lifestyle features. One offering is a compendium of spas, hotels and boutiques in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, plus downloadable "tours" of the cities. Video interviews profile furniture designer Kenneth Cobonpue, who uses eco-sustainable materials; Coyuchi, who makes bedding from organically grown cotton; and Linda Loudermilk, whose fashions are made from fabric based on seaweed, bamboo, and soy.
