Premier Retail Networks has hired Chuck Battey as chief operating officer. Battey will oversee PRN's sales efforts, among other responsibilities. Most recently, he served as president of National
Cinema Network. Battey began his career as an investment banker with Kidder, Peabody & Co. He also held marketing and business-development positions at General Mills, Inc. and Sprint Corporation.
