A week after debuting Hispanic-oriented channels Viva Vision! and Sorpresa! on its V Cast mobile TV service, Verizon Wireless has launched two more: Si TV Comedy and Si TV Latino. Si TV is a Latino-themed cable network launched in 2004 and aimed at 18- to-34-year-olds. Si TV Comedy on V Cast will include sketch comedy show "Unacceptable Behavior" and "Latino Laugh Festival" hosted by Pablo Francisco. Si TV Latina will include "The Drop," focusing on Latino and urban culture, and "Dating Factory," hosted by Mario Lopez. Verizon's latest moves reflect recent efforts by wireless operators to court the U.S. Hispanic market because of its high levels of mobile usage and spending.
