Google Runs Out Of Answers

Google has shuttered its Answers site, which launched in May 2002, after "reevaluating the goals of the project," according to the Google Blog. Google Answers, which featured experts answering users' questions for a pre-agreed fee, had not gained as much traction in the marketplace as its major competitor, Yahoo Answers, which boasted 14.4 million unique users in October 2006, according to comScore. comScore did not have traffic data for Google Answers.
