ChoiceStream: Consumers Willing To Provide Demographic Info

Consumers are willing to give up private information in exchange for more personalization online, according to a study slated for release today by personalization technology firm ChoiceStream. Fifty-seven percent of 1,100 surveyed respondents said they would provide demographic information in exchange for a more personalized online experience, and 34 percent of respondents said they would allow sites to track their clicks and purchases.
